Just give them what they need – neatly piled bags of cement/lime mix, finely screened mortar sand, and lots of fresh clean water — then stand back and watch the performance. The heavy plaster is pumped through a hose and trowelled onto the wall by the power troweller and “hose monkey”, interchangeable roles played by Tola and Tim. Then Mike comes along to “knock down” the roughly applied mud to where it belongs on the wall. “Second troweller” Monica or JD smooths and shapes the plaster for Pete, who follows behind to give the walls their final beautiful finish.
